Fourth of July weekend held the hottest party of the summer, complete with music, dancing and cocktails at the 944 Beach House. For two days, the Pacific Edge Villa in Laguna Beach was taken over by Orange County’s party-going elite — along with numerous attendees from Los Angeles and Las Vegas — to celebrate Independence Day in style.
The festivities kicked off on Saturday evening with an oceanfront sunset cocktail party. Hors d’oeuvres provided by Hush circulated while a hosted Absolut Vodka and Monster bar was available for guests’ enjoyment. DJ Dax and DJ Miles Beard from Deckstar kept the party alive with spins that kept every socialite dancing to their beats. The party stayed alive throughout the night in the Villa and Cabana Rooms, and spilled over to the next day.
Sunday’s celebration was the most exclusive Fourth of July party in Orange County, with both events guest-list only. Partygoers enjoyed food by Rubios, a hosted Absolut Vodka and Monster bar and complimentary spray tans by Unique Tan. DJ Dax and DJ Miles Beard came back to ensure that friends and guests of 944 had the best tracks to dance to. Archisand also built a magnificent 944 sand sculpture, which led the way to the reserved seaside daybeds and towels sponsored by Trainwreck. As the day became night, a magnificent display of fireworks lit up the night sky in celebration of American independence.
