2. The Old Place and The Cornell Winery

Two establishments next door to each other on Mulholland just outside of Malibu in Cornell. Originally, The Old Place was a postal station where folks used to pull up on their horses to get their mail, which contributes to the authentic atmosphere of this saloon-style bar/restaurant. Go next door to the Cornell Winery and grab a bottle of one of the many, great selections of Malibu wines that they carry and enjoy a fantastic meal at The Old place. Old Wild West saloon meets fine art sophistication.

3. Aroma Coffee & Tea Company

This delicious cafe is located on the charming street Tujunga in Studio City. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available and cozy, hidden seating in the back feels like you are not in LA. There is a great little bookstore within to peruse while you wait for your meal.
