1. Alexander Wang Talent Show

It’s baaaack! Fashion’s Night Out, the annual after-hours shopping extravaganza, returns September 8, 2011. There are so many amazing things going this year, it’s absolutely dizzying. Here are a few of our favorites, but be sure to check out the complete lineup and see what’s happening in your city at fashionsnightout.com. One event we’re dying to attend: Design wunderkind Alexander Wang wants to see your freaky side. Bring your craziest talents and performance to the Alexander Wang flagship store for a chance to win prizes like fall bags and T by Alexander Wang products. 2. A Fine Frenzy at Anthropologie

Is there a better combo than Anthropologie and A Fine Frenzy? The singer takes to the stage for two performances in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. 75 Ninth Ave., Chelsea Market, NYC | 7-9 p.m.

3. Bergdorf Goodman

What isn’t happened at Bergdorfs on FNO? Michael Kors is celebrating 30 years at the iconic department store with the help of Linda Fargo; The Blue Vipers are performing in the Men’s Store; designers including Alexandra Vidal, Badgley Mischka, Lela Rose, Cushnie et Ochs, Joseph Altuzarra and more are walking the runway with their canine companions in the 2nd Annual BG Best In Show; Jason Wu is signing his BG-exclusive FNO doll; and so much more. 745 Fifth Ave., NYC | 6-10 p.m.

4. “We Love Lara” at Calvin Klein Collection

Supermodel Lara Stone is one of the most gorgeous women in the world, and on FNO, Calvin Klein will honor the face of their brand with a bash hosted by creative directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli, Amar’e Stoudemire and Vogue’s Tonne Goodman. Throughout the evening, there will be music, refreshments, and special guest appearances, and Costa, Zucchelli and Goodman will be on hand to give shoppers expert style advice and one-on-one fashion consultations. 654 Madison Ave., NYC | 6-11 p.m.

5. Helmut Lang Celebrates FNO with Best Coast

Indie lo-fi band Best Coast performs live at Helmut Lang to celebrate FNO. Enjoy food by Luke’s Lobster Truck and drinks by Death + Company, and don’t miss the interactive digital photo booth curated by Helmut Lang creative directors Nicole and Michael Colovos, which will livestream images from the party on helmutlang.com. 93 Mercer Street, NYC | 6-11 p.m.

6. Milkshakes & Manolos

Sarah Jessica Parker teamed up with Manolo Blahnik to design an exclusive shoe, which they will unveil at their FNO celebration. To toast this special collaboration, a van will be driving around the city with Manolo’s favorite treat – milkshakes. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Fund for Public Schools. 31 W. 54th Street, NYC | 6-11 p.m.

7. Window Shop and Win with Net-a-Porter.com

Net-a-Porter.com is getting in on the FNO fun with an innovative “window shopping” concept. Using cutting-edge imagery-recognition technology powered by Aurasma, shoppers will be able to buy and win from net-a-porter after downloading a specially created "Window Shop" app that will be available for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms before the event. The "Window Shop" will be displayed on vinyl graphics in select storefronts in London and New York. Visitors who download the app and visit the pop-up window shops can hold their mobile devices in front of the wide array of covetable designer fashions and accessories whereby the products will instantly appear on their mobiles available to purchase or potentially win as a prize! Anyone within the NYC area will receive their purchases or prizes the next day delivered by net-a-porter Premier drivers. Out of area shoppers and winners will receive their goods via express delivery, so visitors to the "Window Shop" will not have to worry about carrying their items home after an evening full of partying and shopping. 8. Live at the Shopbop Lounge

Stylist Louise Roe is setting up camp at the Shopbop Lounge in the Meatpacking District, where she will be interviewing Shopbop designers, stylists, bloggers and fashionistas to be live streamed on www.shopbop.com/fashion-night-out. There will also be fashion presentations of seasonal trends, along with a sweepstakes to enter to win a $5,000 shopping spree on the site. Ninth Avenue and 13th Street, NYC | 6-10 p.m.

9. Missoni for Target FNO Pop-Up

Shop a special preview of the hotly anticipated Missoni for Target collection before it arrives in stores. Angela Missoni and Margherita Maccapani Missoni will greet guests when the doors open, and the first 20 guests to spend more than $100 will have the change to take a family-style portrait with the Missonis. 1095 Sixth Ave. at 42nd Street, NYC | 6-11 p.m.
