Known for Hollywood hotspots Les Deux and Geisha House, The Dolce Group just recently opened their first restaurant venture in Las Vegas, Rare 120˚. Set to be the flagship steak house of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's $750 million-expansion, Rare 120˚ promises to put a spin on the traditional steak house. "We're younger guys that want more of a fun, funky vibe with great atmosphere, great music and a really unique menu," says Lonnie Moore, co-partner for The Dolce Group. The 6,000-squarefoot restaurant provides a sleek atmosphere with crimson-lit chandeliers, graffiti chairs, an ever-changing screen of images and a spacious open lounge that overlooks the restaurant. Named after the optimal temperature in which a rare steak is cooked, Rare 120˚ offers up some of the best modern steak house cuisine in the city. "Our menu consists of some really traditional steak house dishes that have been reinvented in an original fashion that hasn't been done before," Moore says. "You're going to get fun and unique flavors mixed together that you've never had before."
