            GAME Magazine is a sports lifestyle publication focused on providing a unique look at the culture of global athletics. Published annually by 944 Media, GAME was the official lifestyle magazine of the 2008 Super Bowl Host Committee and is working with the NBA All-Star Game and FBR Open in 2009 to ensure yet another successful issue.

            With stunning photography, in-depth stories and a witty tone throughout the book, GAME is able to give readers an inside look at some of the biggest names, venues and events in the sporting world.

            From athlete exposes, to cutting-edge product features and irreverent pieces that celebrate the positive nature of sports, GAME is a must-read for any sports fan and an iconic piece of literature that captures the essence of the athletic world.

Editors David Breitman and DB Mitchell

D.B. Mitchell

            A surly Oklahoman living in the Valley of the Sun, Mitchell is a Sooner-Suns fan who cheers for the Cardinals in the privacy of his own home. A former on-air personality with FOX Sports Arizona and writer at Razor Magazine, Mitchell currently works as the managing editor of 944 Phoenix and is the president and lone member of the Goran Dragic fan club. His experience in the sporting world makes Mitchell able to intelligently, albeit naively, defend the idea that the Suns are still a championship caliber team and secure press passes to avoid paying the three dollar cover charge at high school lacrosse games.

David Breitman

            This quick-witted Canadian is a former ESPN talk-show host and NHL beat writer who spends his spare time heckling youth basketball games and watching Saved By the Bell reruns. Breitman currently works as an online editor with 944 Magazine and continues to do freelance work for the Phoenix Suns. A nomadic soul who calls both California and Arizona home, Breitman possesses an alarming knowledge of sports and is often heard conversing about college football recruiting, Premiership Soccer and the merits of the designated hitter at family weddings and first dates. As the only person on the planet who loves the BCS, supports the NHL and owns a Kyle Boller jersey, Breitman is a unique find and valued member of the GAME team that is not allowed to go out in public.

Publisher Brian Ruede

            This former Arizona high school football star and current 944 Publisher possesses an unmatched dedication, work ethic and ingenuity that make the GAME team thrive. Splitting his time between ensuring the integrity of the book and babysitting Breitman and Mitchell, Ruede is the perfect captain for the GAME team and has taken tremendous strides to ensuring the publication’s success.
