Last week, 1,000 of our closest friends joined 944 at AT&T Park, to cheer on the home team, toss back a few adult beverages, shake a little booty and contribute to a great cause - the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Thanks to all our nightlife partners, sponsors and readers for making this such a stellar event.
Our June Music Issue featuring cover model Keri Hilson is on the streets now, and it's jam-packed with oodles of good stuff:
-Top 9 Bands to Watch, by Aaron Axelsen
This legendary Live 105 DJ has bullet-proof musical taste. Right now, he's listening to the bands you'll think you "discovered" next year. Consider this list to be your very own street-cred crib notes.
-A Sneak Peek at This Year's PRIDE After-Party
Hosted by the ever-fabulous Miss Juanita More, 944's Official post-PRIDE bash promises to be a real doozy. The location, The Phoenix Hotel has certainly seen some action in the past, but this party will be a scorcher, trust me. Read all about it and get those tickets soon. Proceeds will be benefit the fine folks at the Transgender Law Center (www.transgenderlawcenter.org)
-Murder on the Dance Floor
Writer Joel Lyons on the songs we love to hate. Or hate to love? Did your least-favorite jam make the list? Check it out - especially if you're a DJ.
