Make Earth-Friendly Events Your Mission This Week

Long gone are the times of Earth Day only being April 22. Now the love-your-planet day has turned into more like a month or a lifestyle. Since OC is known for its pristine beaches, the locals doing more things to go green and make sure our coasts stay sparkling. With big-name speakers at some events, festivals and parties all dedicated to keeping good old Mother Earth healthy and spot-free, the entire county got in on the partying for the planet. So switch those lightbulbs, donate old electronics, skip the car and walk or bike, and recycle so we the next time we go to the beach we won’t have to worry about sharing the sand with litter, chemical waste or improperly-disposed-of trash.
