Laser Cosmetica, owned by Ryan Bloch — a 33 year old Chicago native, is becoming the go-to boutique for cosmetic laser treatment. After acquiring a law degree from The Cardozo School of Law in New York, Bloch found his calling, not in the legal system but the beauty industry. He chose to open Laser Cosmetica, which currently has 10 facilities in three different cities, including Miami, and offers everything from laser hair removal, laser photofacials and cellulite reduction. Here, Bloch chats about how it all came about, the future of Laser Cosmetica and his favorite city nightlife.
944: How did you go from getting a law degree to Laser Cosmetica?
RB: I didn’t want to be a lawyer; I wanted to go into business and laser hair removal. The industry’s marketing has always been really cheesy. We wanted to do something different. So, we came up with a great logo and tag line, and that’s how it all got started.
944 Will Laser Cosmetica be expanding beyond the 10 facilities that are open now?
RB: Yes. Our goal is to be the premier East Coast boutique. But, we will also be expanding current centers and markets, updating technologies and working with more affiliates.
944: You’ve said that in finding other people’s best, you have discovered your own ability. How do you think you’ve changed as a person after working with such people?
RB: I found my character and my calling. I learned to rely on other people and in order to do that, you have to know your best.
944: I understand one of your passions is boxing. How long have you been doing it?
RB: I’ve been boxing for about three years. With business, you fight for everything you are, what you should be and your future. In boxing, you fight for everything you’re not.
944: You’ve earned a great deal of success by 33. What do you expect to achieve by 43?
RB: I started Laser Cosmetica at 27. I really like what I’m doing, and if I can keep doing this, I’ll be satisfied.
944: Of the three cities Laser Cosmetica resides, which cities’ nightlife do you prefer?
RB: Miami. It is the only city that really has a nightlife and it’s fun.
944: We have a Laser Cosmetica here in Miami, so you must come here often. What are your favorite places? Favorite local restaurants, clubs, etc.
RB: I am in Miami twice a month and strolling down Lincoln Road is what I prefer to do. I like Joe’s Stone Crab, Blue Door at Delano, Sushi Samba and, of course, South Florida Boxing Gym.
944: Are you married?
RB: No, I’m not. Are you?
944: [Laughs.] No, not yet, I’m only 23. Ok, let’s get back on track. You offer a wide variety of services. Are there any new services that you will be offering in the future?
RB: Yes. We will soon be offering wrinkle reduction.
944: What is your favorite treatment offered at Laser Cosmetica?
RB: Cellulite reduction.
944: When you’re not working, what are you doing?
RB: Working … or boxing.

I feel like I know Bloch's personality. Great interview questions. I've been wanting to get laser hair removal and now I know where to go; I know I'll be in a good atmosphere.
This was the most informative, witty, inspirational artical on Beauty that I have read in a long time! I would definitely trust Ryan Bloch with my skincare needs.

This guy and his staff are a bunch of crooks! They took my money and charged me FOUR TIMES MORE than I'm currently paying for the same or better laser hair removal. I've tried to get a refund, but Mr. Bloch has no time for customer service. He and his staff are rude and callous! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this place. Take a look at the Better Business Bureau's website... many people are unable to get a refund from them. One has to ask, why are customers asking for refunds??

He is nasty I can't even stand to look at his grose face.
he looks like squidward from sponge bob square pants! funny long nose!
OMG please stop making that ugly Zoolander model face.
he is a good guy, and in fact when i was with him at a wedding a few weeks ago (had not seen him since high school) i got caught up with his goings on . . . easy to throw stones when you do so from the satify of anyno. message boards . . . why don't you get some balls and contribute back to society and take risks like him . . . as for barbara who is calling him a crook, I doubt she really tried to get a resolution . . . . i am sure every company has had a customer service issue at one point or anouther. if it is a legitimate complaint, i have no doubt ryan would do the right thing . . .
Ryan Bloch is and always will be like every other beauty industry business man except this one in particular is an insecure punk who knows no one and is cranking at the benefits of banking a little money out of a lot of lies.
Whomever posts good comments about this guy is obviously him or someone on his payroll. Otherwise no one will take the take the time to write anything positive about this social retard.
