What You Gonna Do Brother?
Son of Hulk Hogan, Nick Hogan, plead guilty today to reckless driving involving serious bodily harm according to perezhilton.com. Nick Hogan was sentenced for his drinking and driving car crash he had involving his friend John Graziano. A crash that left Graziano hospitalized along with lifetime physical and mental disabilities. This is what the judge gave him: - 5 Years Probation - 8 Months in Jail - 500 Hours of community service, no buyout available - 3 Years of Drivers License suspension - No alcohol for 5 years - DUI school completed within the first year of probation - Paying court costs. Personally, I think Nick is getting off easy here. The guy was driving at undeniably high speeds and drunk in which he crashed and forever scarred his friend. TMZ.com reports that Graziano's father spoke about John's work as a marine during the sentencing and said, "What al Qaeda couldn't do to my son, Nick did in a matter of minutes." Wow. Talking about heavy. Even though, Nick is going to have to do a lot of work including jail time, I think he is escaping on easy street. I think he is lucky that he is only 17 or else his sentencing could have been a lot worse. I think Nick should be doing at least a year in the jail after this. Also, he is banned for alcohol for 5 years? He is 17 he cant have alcohol for the next 4 years anyway! This is just another classic example of why you don't drink and drive. I feel sorry for John Graziano and his family. They are the ones paying for Nick's mistakes. Either way I don't think he is going to be enjoying himself for the next eight months as Nick starts his jail sentence immediately. He better get ready because he won't have the Hulkster in the ring with him. Written by: James Vierra
