The Baddest Man on the Planet Throws a New Punch

Variety.com reports that Mike Tyson and his advisors will fly to the Cannes Film Festival this week to premiere his new documentary, "Tyson." The film is filled with old fighting clips and interviews of Tyson. Tyson takes on his old self image where he admits to being embarrassed about his former antics. Tyson even admits that, "There's a lot of information people didn't need to know." I wonder what information people didn't need to know or what was too much. Maybe it was the line, "I'll F*ck you 'till you love me." If it wasn't that, maybe it was something minor like when he was talking about eating his opponents children or refusing to do an interview with women unless he fornicated with them first.

At one point in his career, pre-face tattoo, nobody could stay in the ring with Tyson for one minute without getting knocked out. The kid was a dead set nightmare. Unfortunately, his nightmare continued onto the streets where he was eventually convicted of rape. Tyson went to jail, and was never the same fighter again. Although he was still successful and one of, if not the biggest, draw in boxing, he lost something. This is when he started biting ears and then getting his face tattooed.

One thing that never changed was his attitude and his mouth. Not only is Tyson one of the greatest boxers of all time, but one of the best trash talkers of all time as well. One could easily argue that his antics outside of the ring were more entertaining and exciting than his fights inside of it. This is exactly why this documentary should be unbelievably enticing. It will be like watching a train wreck. You just won't be able to take your eyes off of it. Tyson is a golden sound "bite" waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor and make sure to check this one out when it hits the theaters in this fall, it'll be sure to knock you out.
