Home Alone, Almost.

Fasten your seatbelt, make sure your tray is in the upright and locked position, and check that your kid is with you. That last one really should be added to the list. An immigrant family left their 23-month-old son in the Vancouver airport on Monday, and didn't even realize he was missing until they got off their flight. The family was emigrating from the Philippines to Winnipeg and was running late to catch a connecting flight. The mother and grandparents were running to the gate and assumed the baby boy was with the father. Well, we all know what happens when you assume things. The father, who was lagging behind the other three, thought his son was with the other group. They were all separated on the plane as well, and each thought someone else had the kid. Not so much. The toddler was left wandering around the gates all alone at the airport. Sound familiar? Yeah, this happened in Home Alone 2. Fortunately the boy wasn't left to fend for himself and fight off burglars. Thanks to some kindly security guards, the child was taken care of, and the airline paid for him to be reunited with his family. Seriously folks, keep track of your kids!
