As I sit here at my desk scaling the internet for all things interesting my mind drifts to a familiar place. I begin dreaming about the beverage of the gods. I think it was Benjamin Franklin that said: "Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy." When this great American hero uttered these famous words I couldn't help but think he was talk about Arthur Guinness' most perfect creation. Guinness has to be one of my favorite beverages on God's green earth. People are often turned off due to misconceptions that Guinness is an ultra-heavy beer. Next time someone says to me that the equivalent of a night's meal is hidden in that of a pint of Guinness is getting a chair thrown at them. These are the same morons who beg for people to notice what they are drinking to show you just how in tune they are with their beverages. Well, that last sentance may have made little to no sense but the fact remains nothing beats a perfect pint of Guinness. Here's to me drinking my meal. Cheers.
