Bristol Palin, daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, finally speaks with the press about teen pregnancy. Though Bristol says she doesn’t regret being a mother at 18, she just wishes it had happened 10 years from now. With her mother’s political views favoring pro-life, Bristol said her decision wasn’t based on what her mom thought was the right decision, but based on her decision and what she thought was right for the baby. According to Bristol, breaking the news to her family that she was pregnant was harder than labor. Bristol described the father, Levi Johnston, as a “hands-on” dad who’s very involved with Tripp. The couple plans on getting married but first are focused on finishing school and then starting a career. With no regrets on being a mom at 18, Bristol said she would campaign to prevent teen pregnancies.
