Run This Town Parody

Affion Crockett! You guys probably remember him from Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out show. He was the cool cat with the Yankee’s hat that was literally jockin jockin Jay-Z and now we see him mimicking Jay-Z, Kanye, and Chris Brown! Check out this spoof of “Run This Town” called “Hunt Chris Down” by Affion Crockett that Chris Brown posted on his twitter a couple of days ago.

I wonder if Chris found it just as funny as I did…(side eye Breezy*)..

Keeping it real,

White on Rice

WHITE ON RICE-THEATRICAL TRAILER from Dave Boyle on Vimeo.

I was fortunate enough to meet some of the cast and crew of “White on Rice” during a preview here in Newport Beach. The whole cast and crew were very humble and gracious, signed and took pictures with everyone who asked. Hiroshi Watanabe, who plays the main character Jimmy in the movie, was a favorite amongst the audience, because of his quirky character he played in the movie. His character Jimmy, is a middle-aged man who is trying to figure out his newly found life here in America, all while living in his sister’s basement with his 10 year-old-nephew. I don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll see Jimmy fall in love and grow in this heartwarming and comedic movie. With the launch of her US “I am Sasha Fierce” tour less than a week away: Beyonce Knowles is steady on the grind. With a schedule as demanding as hers, one might think, “Where does she find time for everything?” Luckily, multi-tasking is Beyonce’s middle name. In fact she has recently released two new videos, “Ego” remix featuring Kanye West and “Broken Hearted Girl” off her third album, “I am Sasha Fierce.” A few months ago there was some speculation about the video, “Broken Hearted Girl” not being aired because it didn’t get the stamp of approval from hubby Jay-Z. Since then, changes have been made by deleting scenes and editing out the leading man’s face. I’m a loyal Beyonce supporter, and this is a must see for all!

Taylor Swift has more “Street Cred” then you

Taylor Swift and T-Pain collaborated and made a small piece of genius called, “Thug Story” a play off of her hit “Love Story”. Of course the concept is corny and T-Pain may have lost a little street cred for going through with the song. Despite this, it is still entertaining and Swift gives 110% to the role. You can enjoy T-Swift and T-Pain below:

SideNote:

As a devoted Orlando Magic fan I have to give the Los Angeles Lakers their respect. They played a near flawless series and clearly earned the championship this year. See you guys next season, enjoy the celebration…

This is a system that can sense body motion, face recognition, scan your own gear in, voice recognition, and much more! When I saw the videos of this system and how it works, its unreal! It is going to bring Xbox to another level of the gaming, entertainment, and social networking industry. I suggest that you check it out, and stay posted on when it is said to be released! The Puppets Are Back!

After the Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated by the Orlando Magic in the semifinals, many wondered how the Kobe & LeBron puppet commercials would continue. Since then, Nike has cleverly produced three more puppet commercials to keep the good times rolling! The most recent commercial is a continuation of the babysitting of “Lil Dez,” a pestering kid neighbor, who lives downstairs in their apartment building. During this commercial, LeBron is challenged to entertain Lil Dez by himself without Kobe due to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Lil Dez tries to console LeBron for not making it to the finals every chance he gets. Pure comedy!

*Paranoid*

Kanye West has once again out done himself with his newest video, “Paranoid” directed by Nabil Elderkin. The video's leading lady is played by the beautiful and talented Rihanna. Unfortunately, the music video was leaked online May 27, 2009. Kayne immediately confirmed on his blog that the video was an earlier unfinished version and posted screen shoots of the final version. The video is based on Rihanna's paranoid mind causing her to have unrealistic dreams. Many have suspected the two as an item, but Kanye assures that the relationship is strictly professional. On June 3, Kanye released the finalized version of the video on his blog. Check it out!

So I have been keeping up with all thing sports related. From the Ducks pushing it to game 7 against arguably the second best hockey team in the county, to the my Los Angeles Lakers just pissing me off (just win already), to Manny’s, huh, female testosterone (Weird I know). But along with that I actually enjoy all the commercials that come along with the games. They get me pumped up or make me laugh, ether way they are a joy to watch. So, for today, I have decided to share my top sports commercials, in no particular order, from recent years. I hope you enjoy.

Michael Vick Experience

I know with his recent dog fighting scandal he is not on the top of anybodies list, but how cool would this have been. It actually might be worth waiting in a line for.

T-Mobile Dance

Flash Mobs are becoming very interesting online videos. This is probably why T-Mobile teamed up with one for their new commercial. The T-Mobile Dance was filmed at the Liverpool Street on the 15th of January 2009.

Simon Cowell is Left Speechless

This is certainly one of those feel good stories. Simon Cowell is not only a celebrity judge on America’s hit reality show “American Idol,” but across the Atlantic he also judges the reality singing competition “Britain’s Got Talent.” But on the latest episode of “Britain’s Got Talent” Mr. Cowell was left speechless after an unassuming contestant gave an amazing performance. Susan Boyle has become a web phenomenon after singing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. The performance brought the audience to its feet and left all of the judges speechless or in near tears. Before going on stage Ms. Boyle admitted some interesting facts about herself. She has never been kissed and she lives alone with her cat, Pebbles. As a child Ms. Boyle was bullied as a kid because of a disability, but with this incredible performance she is certainly getting the last laugh. You can watch the video below.
