Facebook : The Movie ?

“The Social Network” is a film currently in development right now for Columbia Pictures/Sony and it’s gearing up for a release in 2011.
“The Social Network” is a film that will tell the chronological story of the founders of Facebook when they launched the social networking website in 2004 and how it has since become an internet phenomenon holding more than 200 million members as of 2009.
The screenplay was written by Aaron Sorkin, who’s previous writing credits include “A Few Good Men,” “The American President” and numerous episodes of “The West Wing.”
As of right now, David Fincher is currently in talks to direct the project, who has directed hit films such as “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Panic Room.”
