White on Rice

I was fortunate enough to meet some of the cast and crew of “White on Rice” during a preview here in Newport Beach. The whole cast and crew were very humble and gracious, signed and took pictures with everyone who asked. Hiroshi Watanabe, who plays the main character Jimmy in the movie, was a favorite amongst the audience, because of his quirky character he played in the movie. His character Jimmy, is a middle-aged man who is trying to figure out his newly found life here in America, all while living in his sister’s basement with his 10 year-old-nephew. I don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll see Jimmy fall in love and grow in this heartwarming and comedic movie.
