Yeasayer's self-described "Middle Eastern-psych-pop-snap-gospel" music is a blending of synth, strings, guitars and eclectic rhythms. They have instantly memorable hooks and gorgeous airy harmonies filtered through a wall of layered electronic effects. Yeasayer’s debut album, “All Hour Cymbals” is genre-bending journey into pop, druggy rock, Middle Eastern and African music. Each member is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter and during their live shows every song is constantly restructured and reworked.
