“THE ART OF IMAGING” SPOTLIGHTS ADVANCED MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY in Orange County

Mission Hospital and the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA) will debut a unique exhibit to explore advanced medical imaging through the lens of contemporary artists. Nearly two dozen OCCCA artists used images from diagnostic equipment such as x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, 3- and 4-D imaging, and more, to create drawings, paintings, collages, mobiles and other forms of art.
Shown through a month-long exhibit, “The Art of Imaging” is a unique fusion of science and art. The inspiring imagery used in the artwork is captured by the very same equipment that saves lives every day, highlighting Mission Hospital’s commitment to advanced medical care.
