Remember the 5th of November for the Museum of Performance & Design’s hottest party of the year. Celebrate Rock 'n' Roll will feature musical performances by seminal 1960s rock bands Quicksilver Messenger Service and Cold Blood with a special appearance by legendary singer, songwriter, and producer Narada Michael Walden. You'll rock the night away at this exciting evening with emcee Ben Fong-Torres (Rolling Stone Magazine). The party is a celebration of the Museum's exhibition "Somethin's Happening Here: Bay Area Rock 'n' Roll 1963-1973." After the performance there will be a rock ‘n’ roll after-party spun by DJ Aykut. All proceeds benefit MPD's performing arts education.
