On Tuesday October 27th L.A.'s fashion elite, including George Kotsiopoulos, Magda Berliner, Rose Apodaca, Cameron Silver, Jessica Paster, Amanda Luttrell Garrigus, Rachael Leigh Cook and Shiva Rose, gathered to toast Corey Lynn Calter's spring collection and celebrate over an elegant three-course dinner in the Lead Apron gallery space tucked away on Melrose Place.

The presentation spread across three walls of the gallery space, with the effect of models walking around the room. An unseen interviewer asked each model a question; the answers, seemingly spontaneous, were in fact taken from page 105 of Robert Evans’ The Kid Stays in the Picture, and lent a playful, comedic element to the film.

“I wanted to show how the collection represents different girls,” Calter said of the idea for the film, “from eccentric to romantic and very pretty to rock but never entirely hard.”
